This session is designed for teachers who are aspiring to a leadership position. There are many different ways to progress in a career in education.
In this session the presenter will encourage you to identify your strengths and weaknesses as a leader and to set yourself a professional development plan to build upon your leadership skills and knowledge.
From there you can start building an action plan – one that you can discuss with the team that you are leading or aspiring to lead.
Standards addressed:
6.1.2 Use the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and advice from colleagues to identify and plan professional learning needs.
6.2.2 Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice, targeted to professional needs and school and/or
system priorities.
This event will be run online externally by Teachers Learning Network. You will receive instructions about how to link in closer to the event.
