An introductory and exploratory session on the use of Artificial intelligence to reduce teacher workload (with a side of ethical considerations).

 

Additional information

In this session you will:

1) Explore the use of AI, including Chat GPT as a tool to reduce teacher workload.
2) Explore the use of AI including Chat GPT to be creative, develop and enhance students’ critical literacy skills and enjoy working with students.
3) Consider potential ethical and privacy concerns and ensure teachers and students are safe in this new frontier.

Australian Professional Standards - this training is mapped against the following standards:

  • 4.5 Use ICT safely, responsibly and ethically
  • 7.4 Engage with professional teacher networks and broader communities
