Details:
The effects of trauma can manifest in different, unexpected ways and show up at surprising and often inconvenient times. Supporting students who have experienced trauma appropriately requires a special approach and attention to the detail of decisions made in how to handle situations. This session will focus on supporting teachers to understand the different types of trauma experienced by students and to identify effective strategies that will help manage the resulting behaviours.
