Summary
The Australian Education Union (SA Branch) invites you or a representative from your site to our roundtable discussion with Professor Martin Westwell (Chief Executive of the Department for Education), Officers from the Inclusive Education Directorate, the AEU SA Special Education Consultative Committee and AEU SA Principal Officers. 

We have heard the concerns of educators across the state and are eager to discuss solutions that ensures that the process by which IESP funding is allocated is fair, transparent, accessible and results in positive outcomes for those children requiring additional support.  

As a result of your participation, we expect the Department for Education and the AEU will be able to work collaboratively to address these issues and support sites to provide the best possible outcomes for students.   

The roundtable discussion will take place on Monday 7 November at 4.30pm-6.00pm at the AEU SA Branch, 163 Greenhill Road, Parkside. We will also be running a hybrid format on Zoom for those unable to travel. Registered attendees will be sent the details closer to the event.
