Nominations coming soon for Sub-Branch Secretaries and Representatives

It’s time for AEU members to start thinking about the leadership of their sub-branch or preschool member group.

Sub-Branch Secretary is an important role, as it serves as a link between sub-branch members and the AEU Office, sharing 
information and organising meetings and ballots.

The bigger and stronger our sub-branches are – the more positive change we can create for our members, and the children and students we work with.

AEU rules require that all sub-branches hold an AGM each year prior to 18 February in order to appoint local union leadership. 

What you need to know

1. Your sub-branch AGM must be held prior to Saturday, 18 February 2023 
2. You can contact the AEU Information Unit  for advice and support anytime
3. Elected representatives will have access to support including training, events and networking

Once you’ve completed your AEU elections, please let our head office know the results.
