AEU Merit Selection Supplementary Training 2022
An online one hour supplementary training for AEU Members wishing to be an AEU Representative on Merit Selection Panels.
In order to be an AEU representative on DfE Merit Selection panel processes, AEU members must complete
the DfE online training and a supplementary one hour session with the AEU. Once both sessions have been completed, you will be added to our database of trained members. The AEU training covers your role and responsibility as the AEU representative on a panel and the requirement to uphold fairness and equity through ethical practices. This session is for members who are completing the AEU Merit Training for the
time or if your previous training has lapsed. If you require a retraining please look for the Merit Retraining course on the Events and Courses Page.

AEU Members who have recently completed the online DfE Merit Selection Training - Education and Children's Services Act 2019 training

How to Register

- To register you will need to create a member account.
- Click sign in at the top right corner of the webpage and click forgot password (even if you don't have an account) and follow the prompts.
- Once you have a member account, return to the event page. a 'register myself' button will appear at the bottom of the event page.
- Click 'register myself' and then scroll to the bottom on the event page and 'proceed to checkout'. You must complete 'checkout' for your registration to be complete - even with free training and events.
- Click submit order and you will receive a confirmation email to the email address you created your account with.
