Professional Issues
More than a union ...
The AEU is the largest and most representative body of education professionals in the State of South Australia. We work collaboratively with professional associations, parent and community organisations, other unions, universities and research centres and the Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) in providing a challenging and high quality program for those involved in education.
To register for union training or professional development programs offered by the Australian Education Union please refer to registration details for each course in the Events and Courses section of this site.
For more information about how to become a member of the Australian Education Union, please go to the membership section of this site or ring the AEU on 08 8272 1399.
Union education and professional development
The Australian Education Union's education and professional development program is broad, and contains activities, courses and projects addressing the diverse needs of all sectors of the AEU membership.
This program aims to individually and collectively build the knowledge and skills of our members to promote stronger education centres and stronger communities.
We will continue our work of ensuring that improvements in professional development and consultation about curriculum issues will be on the agenda.
Our website is updated as new courses become available, and members should also refer to the 'AEU Journal' for news of union training and professional development. We encourage early registration for our courses to avoid disappointment.
For further information on our program please contact
Lynn Hall | AEU Training & Development Coordinator, Phone 8272 1399.
