Lecturer role desciptors

Recently, it came to the attention of the AEU that lecturers, particularly in TAFE SA North, were being pressured to sign new Role Descriptors that had been developed.

There had not been discussion with the AEU about these prior to them being distributed and as a consequence they are being withdrawn and reissued with amendments. These Role Descriptors are merely a restatement of what is now in the Award and should not include any requirements that are at odds with the Generic Lecturer Level Descriptors in the Award.

The signing of these Role Descriptors is only an acknowledgement that you have seen it and are aware of the award requirements.
