AEU seeks changes to bona fides checks

The AEU has written to the Chief Executive of DECS, Mr Chris Robinson, seeking changes to the process for online verification of bona fides - the procedure used at DECS worksites to ensure salaries are being paid to bona fide DECS employees.

This follows complaints to the AEU by principal members who have complained about their inability to delegate the task, and about the "timing out" of the function when they are called away from their desks.
