State of our schools survey reveals major funding shortages

AEU Federal President Angelo Gavrielatos says results from the 2010 State of Our Schools survey show that ten percent of school fundraising is being put towards basic needs like staffing and textbooks. The AEU says that two thirds of schools surveyed said that fundraising was "very important" to their school budget.
