Enterprise Bargaining for a new Agreement will commence in April of this year.  The AEU is in the process of consulting with members and determining the content of the claim which will be put to Government at the end of March.  A great deal of valuable information was gathered from preschool members last year through the Award driven Review of Teacher and Leader Workload. 

The AEU Early Childhood Consultative Committee, consisting of up to 15 members, will be involved in supporting members to be engaged in any activities associated with the EB period.

Members should look out for future communication from the AEU with regard to the progress of the bargaining process.   Members should also be discussing this with colleagues who are currently not part of the AEU and urging them to join in order to be part of the collective strength through Enterprise Bargaining
