Apply for Step 9 today.

As a result of arbitration, contract and relief teachers who have been on pay step 8 for more than 207 days are able to apply for reclassification to Step 9.
 
Anyone considering submitting the form for reclassification to Step 9 is encouraged to thoroughly read the Step 9 Guidelines before completing the Professional development Plan (PDP).
 
Contract teachers are encouraged to use the Performance Management procedure at their work site to negotiate a PDP with their current line manager.

A specific relief teacher information session regarding reclassification to Step 9 will be held at the AEU on Wednesday August 25 from 4:30pm to 6pm. If you would like to attend the AEU TRT and Step 9 session at the AEU please rsvp to Sam Lisle-Menzel at slislemenzel@aeusa.asn.au.
