Our seminar will feature the Reconciliation SA film "For Love of Country". This film encourages greater recognition of the contribution SA Aboriginal men and women have made in the defence of Australia. The seminar will allow participants to view the film and explore Reconciliation issues with Aboriginal people who participated in the film. The film is being launched on May 27 at Tandanya and then shown at the AEU Reconciliation Seminar. It will not be available until later in the year when the Reconciliation SA subcommittee has developed an education pack involving the film for schools. Please contact Reconciliation SA for information about the 2009 and 2010 Education Resource Packs. Refreshments will be provided. |
