Australian Curriculum
The development of the Australian Curriculum will occur over three broad timeframes and is guided by two key documents; the Melbourne Declaration on Education Goals for Young Australians and the Shape of the Australian Curriculum.
AEU members are key stakeholders in the development and implementation of the Australian Curriculum and are represented by an AEU working group chaired by Vice President David Smith.
Extra Australian Curriculum resourcing welcomed
The AEU welcomes the announcement from DECD Chief Executive, Keith Bartley, on 30 November that the Government has approved two additional pupil-free days each year until 2017 for the implementation of the Australian Curriculum. > Read more
